I graduated from UA in December of 2000. As we always did for special occasions, my family decided to celebrate at el Charro. We ate at the former Broadway and Wilmot location. Our favorite was then and is still today, the carne Seca. We would always order a USA Today Carne Seca Chimi and split it among everyone.
Not everyone in my family still lives in Tucson, but we all still love el Charro. My parents even had it shipped to them in Alaska at one point!
El Charro made my graduation extra special and is still our first choice for a celebration.
