I graduated from the U of A in 2005 and my family of course came to El Charro for the celebration. It was delicious as always but the best part was who else was there, none other than the late Senator John McCain. What made it so special was that my grandparents were with us visiting from Minnesota and John McCain was a celebrity to my grandma. We told her to go say hi but she wouldn’t. Still a great memory and El Charro is still my favorite Tucson restaurant to this day
